Jeanette Evans stated she was on her regular drive to work Thursday morning in Lincoln County when she noticed a person come out of the woods.
That man was Brian Moody, one of many 4 inmates who escaped Monday from the Lincoln County Jail.
“I felt like (officers) have to know the place he was,” Evans stated. “When he heard me coming, he ducked into the timber and I assumed, ‘No regular individual geese into the timber when they’re strolling down the street.’”
Officers had captured the opposite three escapees, leaving Moody because the final inmate needed in an virtually 4-day manhunt.
“He by no means turned and confronted me,” Evans stated. “He simply began making an attempt to thumb a experience, and that’s once I referred to as 911.”
Officers have been capable of catch Moody about one hundred yards from the place Evans noticed him, simply hours after she made the decision. She stated she hopes anybody would have made the identical name.
“It feels good. It does. It feels good,” she stated. “And to know that I truly had a hand in it, that simply actually feels good.”
