MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican police and army personnel on Tuesday arrested an “old skool” Zetas cartel chief who allegedly coordinated a 2010 killing spree that included the bloodbath of seventy two Central American migrants within the border state of Tamaulipas, authorities stated.
The fifty six-yr-previous suspect was recognized as Martiniano Jaramillo. Prosecutors stated he was arrested at a hospital close to the Tamaulipas state capital. A photograph confirmed him in custody in a wheelchair.
He faces fees of organized crime and kidnapping, together with the kidnapping of a U.S. citizen.
