LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Oscar-nominated actor Sir John Harm has died. He was seventy seven.

Harm’s agent Charles McDonald says the actor, who battled pancreatic most cancers, died Friday in London.

The actor acquired Academy Award nominations for enjoying a heroin addict in “Midnight Categorical” and the tortured John Merrick in David Lynch’s “The Elephant Man.” Harm had a profession that spanned over 50 years in tv, movie and voice work. He terrified audiences in “Alien,” and spoofed that exact same scene in “Spaceballs.”

As prolific as ever, Harm just lately appeared alongside Natalie Portman within the Oscar-nominated movie “Jackie” as a priest who consoles the just lately widowed first woman. Harm leaves behind a couple of manufacturing credit, together with Joe Wright’s “Darkest Hour, the place Harm performs Neville Chamberlain.
