Cuba rejects 'hostile rhetoric' of Trump


The Cuban authorities is rejecting what it calls the “hostile rhetoric” of President Donald Trump’s speech saying a brand new U.S. coverage towards the island, however says it’s prepared to proceed “respectful dialogue” with the U.S. on subjects of mutual curiosity.

In a press release launched on authorities-run web sites and tv Friday night, President Raul Castro’s administration says Trump’s speech was “loaded with hostile rhetoric that recollects the occasions of open confrontation.”

The prolonged assertion goes on to strike a conciliatory tone, saying Cuba needs to proceed negotiations with the U.S. on quite a lot of topics.

Cuba says “the final two years have proven that the 2 nations can cooperate and coexist in a civilized method.”
